Day 9- Love

Today we start our journey into the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:22). Over the next eight days we will immerse ourselves in this verse and pray that our son(s) can be filled with these things.

Right now, let’s focus on love. As a society, we’ve again taken a word that has so much importance and somehow lessened that meaning. We love cars, tv shows, food and more. But the Bible says God is love. If there is no definition for love apart from God…there is no real love apart from God.

Teaching our son(s) about love may require a change in our own vocabulary. So in our prayers today we may need to pray that the Lord opens our eyes to His love. And then, once we know the real definition for love, we can be filled up of it…hopefully to overflowing.

I pray for each of us as mother’s as go through this process. And I pray our son(s) can also be filled of the love of God.
