Parenting is tough work!!!

I'm constantly worrying about Max. Is he eating enough, peeing enough, will he crawl soon, is he hitting his milestones appropriately? Should we give the MMR on schedule? Are his teeth bothering him? Everyday it's a new question.
Right now Max isn't eating well. We think it's teeth 7 & 8. We blame them anyway. Right now he's running around in his "roundabout" (that's what we call it anyway) and content-but the boy didn't nap well today and hasn't eaten well for a few daysl! Ok-so now he's not content-he's sleepy. I tried so hard to get him to nap and he wouldn't. Daddy is home now so maybe he can get him to take a nap.
We've been trying relentlessly to get this kid on a schedule-or at least a routine. Not sure if it's just teething-our our difficult schedules-but it's not going well!!! Jason and I have very unconventional schedules so it's tough to get Max on one. But on the days where we focus very much on his meal times, play times and nap times-he is such a happier baby!!! He melts down less, he's less likely to scream at people he doesn't know as well (grandma or Aunts), and he actually sleeps better. Sleep does beget sleep!!!
Last night even-he woke up for his bottle and wouldn't go back down at all. Finally some Oragel did the job-but man-we're all exhausted. So you'd think the little booger would nap today. No such luck. I can't complain though. We went to Target, Joann's and the library this morning. He was an angel!!! He rode in the cart at Target and in the sling at Joann's and the library!! Thank you Kara-we love that sling!!! (it's the one pictured below)
Ok-this sounds like a whiney post-but it was essentially just to get my thoughts out. Whenever we go through this again with other children-I want to remember that the 9 month milestone was a tough one!!

On a positive note-Max is pulling up to standing at the couch now!!! Yay!!! Crawling and cruising are coming soon!! And he did eat a decent lunch today-after lots of fighting me on it!!!
