Applesauce

I'm trying my hand at making applesauce (inspired by my friend Erin!). I have 2 crockpots going of sliced/cored/peeled apples (I borrowed my sisters pampered*chef gadget). I'm gonna let them cook all day and hopefully have enough to can this evening. We bought a half bushel of golden delicious. I didn't fit them all in the 2 crocks. I of course wish now that I had counted the number of apples we used! Oh well. Jas loves golden delicious so we'll eat on the extras. I'll try to report back tonight how many jars I got out of 2 crocks!!
